General carpentry Our fully equipped wood working shop includes table saw, radial arm saw, compound miter saw, table router, floor drill press, scroll saw, planner, power belt/disc sander, heavy duty air compressor, pneumatic tools, paint booth plus many jigs, fixtures and specialty tools. We build on a routine basis custom kitchen, bathroom and office cabinets as well as built-in bookcases, bench seats and a variety of other custom built products. Our capabilities allow for the benefit of custom high end cabinets at the same cost as stock manufactured cabinets. We control the sizes, construction and schedule as required by the individual job. All our cabinet boxes are solid wood construction, no particle or “Furniture” board allowed here. Sides, bottoms and tops are 1/2” Birch plywood. Lauan backs are rabbited into the side panels. We utilize face frame construction of solid hardwoods, poplar for paint grade or Maple, Oak, Cherry and others for stain grade. All face frame joints are assembled with concealed pocket screws. All box and face frame joints are secured with heavy duty wood glue as well as mechanical fasteners. Shelves are 3/4” Birch plywood with fronts edge banded for good looks, strength and no sagging. Wall cabinet shelves can be either fixed or adjustable. Base cabinets can be equipped with either fixed shelves or pullout shelf drawers. Drawer boxes are 5/8” thick solid hardwood sides with dovetail corner joints and clear top coat. Boxes mounted into cabinets with heavy duty ¾ extension epoxy coated metal slides with nylon rollers. From MDF (medium density fiberboard) with RTF (rigid thermofoil finish) to solid wood in a variety of species and colors we
can offer you the best selection of highest quality cabinet finish options available. Doors are mounted to face frames
with heavy duty hidden Euro style self closing 6 way adjustable hinges for ease of operation and perfect alignment.
